THE TRUE INDEPENDANT LABEL
The bands on this label have not been found by an A&R man or some corporate contest. As a matter of fact, members of these bands have relationships and histories that go far beyond the lives they lead today. They are the heart, soul, hands and most importantly, mouths of Pacific Coast Pirates in all its forms. Although their styles are very different from each other, the one common quality in all our acts is their understanding in the delivery of a live performance, plain and simply, our bands throw down and kick ass on stage. PcP believes if the people of a community support local artists the way we support our bands here at PcP RekerdZ, we as a whole will have taken a major progressive step forward in all our futures. If you want to support the bands of PcP, please join their social networking sites, and pump their sounds as loud as your stereo will allow. PcP supports the touring of all our artists as well as the sponsorship of many artists on the West Coast through the sale of PcP apparel, so remember, when you buy a PcP t-shirt, you are supporting local music.
Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, Pacific Coast Pirates has worked with many local bands/artists as well as some well known national acts including: FunkyJahPunkys, Age oV Reason, Inhale, Shotguns-N-Gasoline, The Melodramatics, Sarah's Downstairs, Ice-T, Columbyne, Billy's Kid, N2DEEP, Coolio, Nishk, and IGM. Last Summer PcP Rekerdz signed a national distribution deal with Koch Entertainment, and in October we will be releasing our very first album under the PcP Label... “Corporate Takeover” by the FunkyJahPunkys.
